DIRECTING & DEVELOPMENT

With over 20 years experience working in schools and further education, I am very passionate about artist development, with a particular interest in creating strong and safe spaces for LGBTQIA+ emerging practitioners.

I have taught and directed at many drama schools and companies including Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, RADA, Arts Educational and National Youth Music Theatre. As a writer I have worked at LAMDA, RADA and the University Of Worcester.

I have directed workshops for venues including Roots Touring Theatre (Queerspaces), Curve Leicester Young Company, Unicorn Theatre, SOHO Writers’ Lab and the Unicorn Theatre. I have written and led workshops for Encore tickets (shows including The 39 Steps, Billy Elliot and Wicked), CBBC casting, East 15 and many schools and colleges across the UK.

Work as dramaturge and director includes Musclebound and Passionate Machine by Rosy Carrick (winner of Best New Play, Brighton Fringe 2018) and There Was A Little Girl by Millie Wood Downie.
